About Us

The Church of Bike

We’re a family of four—two grownups, two kids, a dog named Truman, and a cat named Sushi. Together, we decided to turn our love of biking (and our love of helping people) into something bigger: The Church of Bike.

It all started with a few extra bikes in the garage and a simple thought: every kid should have one of these. Not just for fun, but for freedom. For getting to school. For discovering their own neighborhood. For feeling that magical “I can go anywhere” moment that only a bike can bring.

So we got to work.

Now, we collect gently used bikes, raise money for new ones, and get them into the hands (and under the feet!) of kids who need them most. We believe bikes change lives—and we’ve seen it firsthand.

But this isn’t just a family project anymore.

We’re tapping into decades of deep connections across the art world, skate culture, and the cycling community to rally support for a single, powerful cause: getting a bike to every kid who needs one. Through limited-edition merch created by influential artists, community donations, and lovingly restored bicycles, we’re putting wheels under dreams—helping kids get to school, explore safely, and grow with confidence.

We’re also on a mission to make the streets safer for everyone who rides. That means championing bike-to-school programs, raising awareness around bike safety, and pushing for more bike-friendly infrastructure in the places kids live and ride.

Because every ride should be a safe one.

The Church of Bike isn’t a building—it’s a belief: that movement is freedom, and every child deserves both.
