Andy is a legend in the world of BMX. I’m sure you already knew that, but just in case… At 17 Jenkins moved to Denver, Colorado where he attended art school. By 20 he departed the Rockies to start a job as the managing editor of a new BMX magazine, Freestylin' in Los Angeles, California.


He spent the following decade working in and around magazines, as an editor, writer, illustrator and art director, with his friends and partners, Mark Lewman and Spike Jonze. The three co-created lifestyle magazines, Homeboy and Dirt. The list of other publications Jenkins worked with includes, BMX Action, Transworld Skateboarding & Snowboarding, Poweredge, Snowboarder, Warp, Raygun, Level, Big Brother, Monster Children and Grand Royal.
